Dr Nicholas Sherwin BDS Dip Imp Dent RCS

Nicholas qualified from Liverpool Dental Hospital in 1997. After working in Dorchester, he became the practice principle of Acorn Dental Health in 2002.
Along with his extensive experience in cosmetic dentistry, facial aesthetics and dermal fillers, Nick also has a diploma in dental implantology. When not working at the practice Nicholas is involved with Tipton Training in Watford where he helps with the training of the next generation of implant dentists.
Dr Sally McKinley BDS

Sally qualified in 1997 from Liverpool Dental Hospital. After practicing in Dorchester, Sally joined Acorn Dental Health in 2002 and is now a joint practice owner with Dr Nicholas Sherwin. Sally has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry, and also provides orthodontic treatments using invisible braces.
Dr Michael Norman BDS

Michael is an enthusiastic and friendly dental practitioner who after graduating from King's College London, he went on to do a maxillo-facial/oral surgery post at the Royal London Hospital for 1 year where he also passed his MFDS postgraduate exam and became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons. He also has a special interest in removable prosthodontics (dentures). Outside work Michael has recently become a father. He loves all types of sport especially squash, football and tennis. He cycles and participates in a number of distance running events.
Dr Rebecca Dowling BDSc

Rebecca qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 2013 before moving to the south of England. She completed the post graduate qualification MFDS (Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons) and provides orthodontic treatment using invisible braces.
Bridget - Head Nurse

Bridget been dental nursing for over 40 years and has been dental nursing since leaving school. Bridget likes to care for people and ensure they are well looked after. This, along with her vast knowledge and experience, makes her a valued dental nurse and member of our team. In her spare time Bridget enjoys gardening and holidays with her family.
Helen Rochard BSc

Helen qualified as a dental hygienist and dental therapist in 2019 from the University of Portsmouth Dental Academy, and is the newest member of our team.
Kim - Practice Manager
Kim has been working at Acorn Dental Health for over 30 years and is a valued member of our team. Kim’s long standing dedication to our patients is always at the forefront of her work. Kim has a very warm and welcoming rapport and always enjoys getting to know our patients. In her spare time Kim enjoys gardening and spending time her family and grandchildren.
Debbie - Receptionist
Debbie has been working at Acorn Dental Health for over 15 years and always provides a friendly welcome to all our patients. Debbie will go out of her way to help others and is a dedicated and valued team member. In her spare time Debbie enjoys dancing and spending time with her family and friends.
